Founded in 1989, PASS Technologies AG is a highly specialized provider of IV&V services for IT solutions, software products and lab automation systems within  in the life science and healthcare industry, offering a complete spectrum of consulting and testing services for systems and solutions supporting laboratory process automation, data integration and management information.

The company is located in the greater Zurich area of Switzerland, in close distance to several leading manufacturers of instrumentation for lab automation in life science and clinical diagnostics.

PASS is a founding member of the Toolpoint competence center since 2004 and heading the Toolpoint Regulatory Compliance Task Force.

BUSINESS FIELDS

PASS provides independent consulting and validation services supporting companies developing Medical Devices, Clinical Analyzers, LIMS Software and Laboratory Automation Systems to comply with FDA's quality system requirements 21 CFR 820 and 21 CFR part 11 as well as with the Medical Device Directive and the In Vitro Diagnostics Directive IVD 98/79CE. May 2009: PASS evaluates and tests MERLIN, the new web based application platform for swiss government funded technology transfer (CTI) projects
